The Rawas
Some weddings are beautiful because of the venue, some because of the people — and some because every single detail was intentionally designed to tell a story. Meredith and RJ’s wedding at Moonstone Manor was the latter.
Meredith, a graphic designer, brought an incredible level of thoughtfulness to every element of their day. The color palette alone set the tone: rich chocolate brown paired with soft cream — a combination that felt both timeless and perfect for a fall wedding at the estate. It complemented the architecture and surrounding landscape so naturally that it felt like the venue had been designed for their palette.
Even the smallest details were carefully considered. One of my favorite touches was how Meredith used her Cricut to add each bridesmaid’s name onto chocolate brown ribbon, which she tied around their champagne glasses for getting ready photos. It was such a simple detail, but one that made everything feel cohesive and personal.
After getting ready photos in the girls stunning robes, Meredith spent the morning getting ready with her mom in one of the most beautiful rooms at the manor — filled with soft window light and quiet anticipation. She intentionally stayed separate from her bridesmaids so she could have a special first look with them later, creating one of those moments that feels both emotional and playful all at once.
Her dress was breathtaking: a stunning lace corset bodice paired with a dramatic, fuller train that moved beautifully throughout the day. And it was only the second of four looks Meredith would wear — a true fashion moment that unfolded throughout the celebration.

The first look between Meredith and RJ happened in the manicured garden in front of the estate, beside the fountain — one of those perfectly cinematic spots that somehow still feels intimate.
But what made the moment unforgettable wasn’t the location — it was RJ.
The way he looked at Meredith, the emotion in his face, the tears that came instantly when he saw her — it was one of the most genuine and heartfelt reactions. Throughout the entire day, it was so clear how deeply he adores his bride. RJ carries such a quiet kindness, and the way he showed up for Meredith in that moment said everything.
After their first look, we spent some time taking portraits in front of the estate and with their wedding party before stepping inside the lobby for a few editorial-style photos by the grand piano — always one of my favorite architectural elements at the manor. The mix of classic interiors, soft light, and elegant design created the perfect backdrop for portraits that felt both timeless and fashion-forward.

From the moment guests arrived, Meredith and RJ’s vision for the day was clear.
Walking through the venue’s signature greenery arches toward the ceremony space, guests were greeted with a charming refreshment station displayed on a thrifted table the couple had found — one of many small touches that reflected Meredith’s thoughtful design eye.
The ceremony itself overlooked the river, creating a breathtaking natural backdrop as Meredith and RJ exchanged personal vows in front of their family and friends. It was sincere, emotional, and deeply personal — the kind of ceremony that reminds everyone why they’re there in the first place.

Cocktail hour at Moonstone Manor is truly one of the most magical parts of the venue.
The stone railings, brick courtyards, sweeping steps, and views from the balcony above create an atmosphere that feels both grand and welcoming. Guests mingled between the lawn and terrace while Meredith changed from her veil into a chic neck scarf — another subtle fashion shift that perfectly fit the tone of the evening.
One of the best parts of their timeline was that Meredith and RJ were able to fully enjoy cocktail hour. They spent the time hugging friends, talking with family, and soaking in the moment — something couples rarely get to do when timelines feel rushed.
Before heading into the reception, they gathered with their wedding party for a champagne tower — such a fun, celebratory moment with their closest people.

Just before the reception began, we stepped away for a few minutes of sunset portraits.
With the ceremony behind them, Meredith and RJ could finally relax — and that shift in energy created some of my favorite photos of the day. We ran, spun, laughed, and embraced the carefree feeling that comes once the big moments are done. Those images capture their personalities so perfectly: joyful, playful, and completely themselves.
And then there was the reception design.
Rich chocolate tones mixed with creamy linens and florals created a warm, elevated atmosphere inside the reception space. The dark wood bar back tied everything together beautifully, and every guest’s place setting featured a personalized menu with their name — yet another thoughtful design choice by Meredith.
Their cake, decorated with tiny swans, was as sweet as it was charming. But the real surprise came later in the night.
After changing into her fourth look — a shorter, fitted dress with lace detached sleeves — Meredith made her entrance back onto the dance floor holding stacks of personalized pizza boxes for the late-night snack.
Iconic.
