You spent a year or more planning one of the most exciting and pivotal days in your life and it comes and it is everything you dreamed of…but it went by, in a blink of an eye. You want to be able to see the pictures from your wedding everyday, so you decide to print a few out and get an album made for your coffee table. Everyday you see your portraits above your bed as you get ready and you flip to a new page in your album each morning while you’re sipping your coffee.

Days go by and you flip to a page full of fun reception photos and realize in one picture your friend is in the corner with this crazy expression on her face. So you send it to her and ask what was happening that made her react like that and she goes, “omgggg, I totally forgot to tell you, but….” you hear about a hilarious and shocking moment that you didn’t even know happened.

Months go by and your significant others friends post pictures from the wedding because it’s their birthday, ones you didn’t include in your album and haven’t seen in a while. They say, “I totally forgot this happened during our portraits…” you hear even more stories that are new to you, but bring back the joy of the day.

Years go by and you have kids now. They ask what you were like when you were young, you pull out your USB, plug it in and cycle through ALL the pictures of your wedding day. Your spouse is sitting next you saying, “Aww, remember when…” and your kids are saying, “who is that…, you look so pretty…, what did you do next!?”. And you get to re-live all the memories all over again.

You know how it feels when you look back at old photos and it jogs a memory of what was happening at that time? and you might not have even remembered that time in your life if there wasn’t a picture to document it?

I love that after I capture all these emotional moments of your wedding day. I get to give you the gift of memories that will never be forgotten.
